Help is a process. There is a fine line between help and harm.
The process is to wait until the person who you think needs help asks for help. Or, you can ask the person who you think needs help if they would like for you to help them. If you do the latter, remember to be very specific about the help that you are going to provide.
If a person does not ask for help or have not agreed, by you asking them, for you to provide help, you may find that you are not helping that person but instead are harming them.
