Response: I'm Jewish.

I looked around the room and noticed the people who were part of the conversation. There were two white people and three non-white people.

This was a "homeless" person. I asked this person if I could ask them some questions and that I'd pay them for their answers. I told them I only had a few dollars to spare but could pay them for each answer. They wouldn't answer the "critical question".
