I'm wondering if many fellows members received such a piece of rascist junk as I did today; it was a letter from someone claiming to be a former Chief Border Patrol agent, named Bill King.
In this propaganda, I'm led to believe all kinds of terrrible things are going to happen to me and my children if I don't send money and sign some petition to be given to my congressman.
Okay, that's fine, at least it's legal, I guess, but I do not like receiving junk in the mail like this ! I visited my brother down near the border a couple of months ago, and we almost got run over by a pickup load of these "minute men", scrambling to harrass some poor illegal. The whole time they were shouting "Get out of the way, white trash !", and saying how they were going to get some "spics", hopefully to shoot them.
Regardless of my experience, which wasn't good, I was wondering if this was a mass mailing, and why in the world would I receive this junk !!??

No, I'm not white, is there some requirement that members be white. I attended UofH, and grew up in rural Texas, near Houston. I'm sorry if I asked a question that may have been a little off the wall, but my race & illegals are getting roused pretty hard. I got called "white trash" because we're very light
skinned. We've worked hard for what we have, we just want to keep it, is all.
I just happened to punch in rascism in a search engine and found this site, and it looked good to me. It might be in theblackdatabase.com, I'm not sure, I haven't checked. |

Okay, 'sorry about that, I did what I should have done to start with, and read he announcement section; there's usually a section like that explaining what the board is about exactly, and what kind of posts are prevalent & desired.

Thank you for reading the forum Announcements. I will rename them "Forum Guidelines and Standards" so that it is clear of purpose.
There is a thread that covers my suggestion to you as a possible way to solve the problem you are experiencing. I suggest you use the United States Constitution in your response. There is a thread on the WSP (Counter-Racism Work/Study Project) that outlines how to do this. This is not restricted to be used on the job. This strategy can be used in response to almost any situation. You can find it here:

If you would like help in building a response to the letter you received and you do not want to send any money there are people on the WSP, including myself, that can help you with that response in this thread.
