Suggestion:
To ensure you are not harmed in your new job before starting the position it is best to use the following, or a similar term in your counter offer:
All of the work I am asked to do is in accordance with and/or in support of the "due process" clauses of the United States Constitution.
Reason/Explanation:
Once this term is accepted anytime anything is said and/or done that seems to be headed toward you being harmed you have the duty to suspect that someone is attempting to subvert the United States Constitution by subverting you in the process of accomplishing your duties on the job.
Anyone not accepting this term implies they are not interested and/or not involved in complying with the United States Constitution.
THE LOGIC:
The 5th and 14th amendments of the United States Constitution requires "due process" meaning everything that is said and/or done must be carried out in a specific manner and also requires "equal protection of the laws" meaning however it is carried out for one person it has to be carried out the same for any other person.
